Kathie teaches Mindful Yoga

 at the HARWICH COMMUNITY CENTER - Friday 9 am
and the Barnstable Senior Center - thursday 5:00 pm

Everyone can do Mindful Yoga.  Hatha yoga postures and stretches are done sitting in a chair and also standing.  This enables students to focus on the poses rather than any discomfort that may come from sitting or lying on the floor.  Emphasis is placed on meditation, bringing awareness to the present moment and connecting the breath to the movement of the body. 

Learn:  
-    to breath deeply, bringing more oxygen to your body

  1. joint opening stretches and postures to help the body to move more easily
  2. to practice being in the present moment bringing more joy into life
  3. stretches, postures, and techniques to incorporate into a yoga home practice

Kathie Marin, M.Ed, Certified Yoga Teacher, graduated from Kind Yoga School, a National Yoga Alliance Registered School.  She has practiced yoga for 14 years and she is passionate about sharing yoga with others.
