Alicia Karen Thomas  Currently I teach Yoga at the Provincetown Gym. Judging by the people in these classes, its either slow flow and meditative, or power flow. During powerflow classes, I always show modifications so that even the beginner can use their own pace and ability to stay present during the practice. I also teach Chair Yoga, at Seashore Point in Provincetown, great for EVERY-BODY. I have folks who bring their children and teenage grandchildren. These classes really are amazing. We envoke our grace, our breath, and our power, all from the comfort, and support of a chair. Again judging by the people in the class, we even do some standing stretches, and there are ALWAYS modifications, so everybody stays together in their own way. I also am available for house calls. Whether it a private, one on one, or invite family and friends and make it a private yoga party! I travel to you, and i prepare a class suited for the needs and abilities of those who’ll be present. I provide mats, blocks, straps or blankets if you need.

Pam Paquette:  It has been fun. My Chair Yoga class would like to meet a second day a week!! My intro to yoga classes have 6 – 9 people in it! Like the song…its only just begun….

“I do what I love for the thrill of creating with mind, body and soul.”
Yoga Creations of Cape Cod is a reflection of my passions – hatha yoga, music and painting/handcrafting. It was created as a resource for yoga information, classes and products.Linda’s love of wellness, music and art inspired her to share her passions through teaching. She has worked with the special needs population for over 20 years and is the director for a day habilitation program-serving adults with developmental disabilities. She brings a relaxed approach to her yoga classes and sculpts a meditative practice that allows her students to explore and meet their potential through thoughtful, compassionate teaching. Tracy L Peterson, RYT began practicing yoga several years ago to combat occupational stress, find balance in her life and delve into the connection between mind, body and spirit.   She has spent over 18 years in the high stress mortgage industry working in a management level.  In 2011 she received her  yoga instructors certification through Kind Yoga.   Tracy encourages students to do what they can in her classes realizing that every body is different and every individual has different motivations and goals. Tracy is also the co-founder of Calm Warrior which specializes in providing criminal justices professionals with stress reduction tactics.

Alanna Hernandez, RYT  Began with teaching yoga to the students at Sturgis Charter Public School, Hyannis MA.  While still in Kind Yoga training, I did my final project working with a group of girls from Sturgis Charter Public High School. I taught a four week series for them supporting self-esteem and positive body image. I really enjoyed it and wanted to extend it to the full school, so I wrote a proposal, and happily, the school accepted it! Eventually I was teaching yoga to all the kids of the Sturgis East Campus, focusing on empowerment, stress-reduction, and health.
Alanna aims to teach honest and unpretentious classes that help her students reach their full potential. Because yoga was such a positive influence in her life as a teenager, she is passionate about sharing yoga with teens today.

Kristin Terkelsen, DPT is the owner and Clinic Director of Physical Therapy Solutions. She graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2000 with her MSPT and continued on to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy soon after graduating from PT school. Although she is not currently teaching formal classes, she uses yoga with almost every patient. This blending of her passion for teaching people to help themselves with the practice of yoga is a likely and effective combination for her patients.

She is available to those in the yoga community who may have an injury that is affecting their yoga practice or preventing them from practicing altogether. Her extensive education in movement helps her modify and tweak each posture to allow you to return to your practice without pain and discomfort. She uses her program of “Yoga on the Good Side” to teach you how to unlock your body in ways that you may not have been able to before, allowing you to return to yoga and make your practice more powerful.  www.ptsolutionscc.com
